Shipping & Returns

Complimentary domestic shipping on every order, insured and signature-required, in unbranded outer packaging. Ready-to-ship pieces leave within two business days; made-to-order work follows the timeline on your confirmation.

Returns are accepted within thirty days in original condition — engraved and custom pieces excepted. Write to us first and we will send a label; refunds land within five business days of the piece reaching the studio.

Repairs

Anything we made, we will fix — for as long as we and the piece both exist. Prong-tightening, re-polishing, and chain soldering are free within the first two years and at cost afterward.

Send photos and a description to studio@cairnjewelry.com and we will quote before touching anything. Repairs from other makers are taken case by case, honestly.

Ring Sizing

Our bands run true to US size. If you are between sizes or sizing for a wider band, go up a half. Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are largest.

Common Questions

Three to four weeks from order, most of it hand-finishing. Your confirmation email includes the week your piece leaves the studio; ready-to-ship pieces go out within two business days.

Often, yes. Family stones set into a new piece is a third of our custom work. Send a photo and a note to studio@cairnjewelry.com and we will tell you honestly whether the stone suits a setting.

Yes, with habits. Opals and pearls are softer than quartz — keep them out of ultrasonic cleaners, off the gym mat, and away from perfume spray. Worn with those courtesies, they last generations.

One complimentary resize within sixty days of purchase, on any ring that was not engraved. Resizing a raw-stone setting takes a steadier hand than the first build, so allow two weeks.
