A Custom Wedding Band
A band for two hands that will hold it for fifty years — the whole process, from sketch to hand-off.

Elizabeth came to the studio with her grandmother’s ring and a simple request: keep the stone, lose nothing else. The original setting was thin to the point of vanishing, worn down by eighty years of actual wear — which is its own kind of beautiful, but not something you can build a future on.
We drew three directions. She chose the quietest one: the stone lifted slightly, on a ridge band with our beaded detail running around the waist, in the warm 14k gold her grandmother would have recognized. The reclaiming of the gold from the old setting became the new one — same metal, next chapter.
Custom work like this is about a third of the studio’s week. It is slow, mostly listening, and it is the part of the practice we would keep even if nothing else paid the rent. If you have a stone with history, we would like to meet it.
